Swimmy, Frederick & Inch by Inch

We went for a theatre illustrating Leo Lionni’s beautiful picture story books about a Fish, a Mouse, a Worm, and their ingenuity.

While waiting for Daddy to park, Mummy & I went for a stroll along the bank of Singapore River…

Back to Victoria Theatre…

Behind the scenes…

The puppets were beautifully done up with the puppeteers doing a great job with the maneuvering. Thumbs up and a great show indeed!

Makan Gathering

Last week, we had dinner @ Sushi Tei with Daddy’s friends…

It was almost time for the last order when we reached… guess we were all famished and hence… ended up with a table so full of food that we had to utilize the empty table next to ours!

Uncle Kevin working hard to stuff in more food!

Ah… to think that we even went for supper after that! Tsk tsk tsk… what a sinful night!

GraceHouse Year End Concert

Its the morning to my school's concert and all of us were looking bright and chirpy!

My folks couldn't help laughing at how girly I looked with my makeup and blue eyeshadow!
(To Mummy: Enjoy the moment of having a 'daughter')

Mummy's inputs:

After sending Kaeden off to his classroom, both of us proceeded to the Sanctuary with high anticipation of his upcoming performance...

Getting in line to enter the Sanctuary...

the beautiful stage...

Kaeden on stage, partnering Christy... the little girl whom he has been talking non-stop to us about!

The Grand Finale

and finally... the proud parents...

... the little boy with his best buddy...

**************

I teared when I saw Kaeden's wonderful performance... At that moment, he felt so grown up standing on the stage, performing every single movement of the dance on his own!

All the worries about him panicking at the crowds, forgetting his steps... all vanished from my mind! At that very moment, I only have him in my eyes... overwhelmed with pride and love for my beautiful boy...

Daddy and Mummy are so proud of you!

What is in Store?

Today is our 12th year I-Know-You anniversary and since both of us are on leave, I have planned some activities just for the 2 of us…

This DIY Teppanyaki restaurant at Ion Orchard that I have been wanting to try but don’t look ‘friendly’ enough for Kaeden…

Next up… FOOT REFLEXOLOGY… yesssh… my poor feet are still aching till now!

Getting both our feet clean and ready…

Look how drained out I was after the session! My longest 40 minutes!

My close to $200 worth of shopping loots as a punishment for hubby being 30 minutes late…

Lastly… my reward for being an ever-so-patient wife to a forever-always-late hubby… my very own Macbook…!

Old Town White Coffee, Bukit Timah

Heard many raves about this place so the 3 of us have decided to come by and try it ourselves!

We ordered (1) Penang Laksa (2) Ipoh Hor Fun Soup (3) Kaya & Butter Toast (4) Half-Boiled Eggs…

Verdict:

Didn’t really like the Penang Laksa though, not sour enough and the noodles they used are like Mee Tai Mak – Mummy’s most hated type of noodle!

Don’t be deceived by the plain, bland look of the Ipoh Hor Fun because it’s simply very very nice!

Kaya Butter Toast – Nice! Bread is crispy and the butter inside is still solid… unlike some toast shop with butter dripping from every bite…

Half-Boiled Eggs – The eggs are too cold for our liking.

Tricks or Treats

It’s Halloween and tonight we will be going down to Uncle Malcolm’s house for some tricks or treats!

For the past weeks, Daddy and Mummy have been going around searching for the right pumpkin, hoping to turn it into a lantern…

Well… this is what we have found! Cute?

Making our way to Uncle Malcolm’s house in the evening…

Our host and the food he prepared… Kudos to him… cause according to my folks, the food are simply yummilicious!!!

Everyone helping themselves to the food…

Erm, are you guys wondering where I am? Heehee I am busying catching up on my beauty sleep!

And then when I am finally awake… a self taken shot of Uncle Tze Jun and me!

Thanks Uncle Malcolm for having us over. It has been a great night of fun!
